World, Meet Damn Good Spirits

The Task: Help launch a popular-priced Colorado craft brand to the market and drive off-premise and on-premise sales.

How we did it: In addition to designing the label, we rolled out the brand introduction using a mix of traditional PR and social media tactics. We played off the fun personality of the brand by creating a series of “Good” vs. “Damn Good” posts that highlighted relevant Colorado activities like camping and hiking. We also created content around the brand’s value proposition - quality ingredients at a Damn Good price. We drove conversation off-page with local influencers, podcasts and blogs in Denver and Boulder.

Results: We garnered more than 1.29 million organic impressions between influencer mentions and traditional media hits - securing placements in 5280 Magazine, Westword, 303 Magazine and Thrillist. Influencers embraced the product and created their own recipes including a variety of cocktails and even boozy popsicles. The brand soared in sales outpacing all other brands in the portfolios.

Launching a Distillery

The Task: Keep people excited and engaged as Castle & Key Distillery spent two years remodeling the historic Old Taylor site.

How we did it: We created behind-the-scenes teaser posts on social and showcased ongoing progress of the distillery. In addition to telling the rich history on social, we helped to tell the story of the first female Master Distiller in the industry through PR efforts. We also developed a monthly newsletter to keep fans apprised of the distillery’s progress.

Results: We attracted over 25K fans pre-distillery launch to Castle & Key social. We helped coordinate documentaries, national lifestyle shows and interviews with top-tier media like Food & Wine and USA Today. The distillery was fully booked for tours and private events prior to opening and fans were excited for a totally unique tour experience.

Influencing Sales

The Task: Raise awareness for a start-up lifestyle brand by tapping into third-party endorsements. 

How we did it:

  • Social Influencer Marketing: Identified influencers (including chefs and lifestyle bloggers) in key markets. Sent product and created a relationship with the brand.

  • PR: Pitched the brand's conservation efforts and innovative products to media to generate coverage.

Results: 

Secured media placements in key foodie pubs like Food & Wine, and men's lifestyle sites like Cool Hunting and Gear Patrol.

Drove online buzz with third-party posts on influencer channels and a hit on Kitchen Insider, where it was shared on other Insider channels, In The Knowand Yahoo News. The video received over 9 million views and 61K shares on Facebook. Most importantly, the company sold hundreds of product on Amazon.
