3 Steps to Leveraging Positive Reviews on Social

Whether it’s a tweet, Facebook review or snapping a photo on Instagram, fans will be the first to share their (sometimes brutally honest) opinions about a brand on social media. And a fan’s opinion can sometimes trump the brand’s, so a nice word from a third party can go a long way. We’ve pulled together three steps if you want to leverage that review:

1. Find the Review: Common sense, but before you’re able to share the positive review, you have to *find* them. One of the easiest ways to do this is to scour the web. Gather quotes from external sites like TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google and your business’ social pages to get started.

2. Add a Quote to Images: As we all know, images and videos are key to social posts. Some studies say the brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text. Make the review visual by adding it to an image in order to capture the audience's’ attention. If you prefer no text on your image select an image that corresponds with the quote and use the review in your post text.

3. Tag the Fan: Once you’ve created your image, it’s time to take your engagement one step further. Be sure to tag the fan in the text of your post to extend your reach. They love when brands give them a little attention, and it shows you’re listening.
