3 Ways to Drive Traffic to E-Commerce from Social

As if we weren’t already ordering a lot on Amazon, the shutdown caused a shift in buying behaviors in other areas as well - from Uber Eats to Drizly. Many spirits companies also set up an online platform as some shipping laws loosened up.

Social Media can be a great way to drive traffic to your online store or a partner store, especially with products consumers aren’t used to ordering online (insert booze).

  1. Make sure you put online ordering in your content strategy. Mention it in posts, have a clear call to action with your links and even show someone ordering the product - whether that be a screenshot on a phone or laptop or picking it up from their doorstep.

  2. Paid ads. Social ads that link directly to sites like Drizly or Reserve Bar are a great way to get in front of people who many not follow your page. Make sure you link to your specific brand/product page and make it as easy as possible for someone to click and buy.

  3. Influencers. When partnering with influencers give the e-commerce site as a talking point. Send them the link and encourage them to let their followers know how they can easily buy your spirits.

These are three easy ways you can tap social media to drive online sales. Let us know what other tactics you’ve used in the comments below and follow us on social media for more tips!
