Instagram was the stand out network of 2019 with more brands flocking to the network to promote their products on the feed as well as Instagram Stories. Social Media Today pulled together a quick recap of Instagram Story stats in a recent article.

  • 500 million people use Instagram Stories every day.

  • One-third of the most viewed stories are from businesses.

  • Brands post an average of 2.5 stories a week.


New Features

  • Instagram is rolling out Group Stories, a collaborative story multiple people can contribute to which could be a useful tool for conferences, events, and more.

  • Admins of LinkedIn Groups now have more control, including reviewing new posts before they go live in a group which may cut down on spam.

  • Your Bitmoji could be famous. Snapchat is launching Bitmoji TV where your character can star in its own series.
