One word we’ve heard throughout this pandemic is “pivot.” Old Forge Distillery in Tennessee did just that when they shifted gears from moonshine to hand sanitizer providing thousands of gallons for the state of Tennessee. We helped spread their good work on social and local and national media, securing hits with NBCFOX, and other regional pubs. Their social posts concerning the donations were some of the top-performing posts of the month, reconfirming that people do like to read about good acts on social.

  • After over a year of testing, Instagram users can now check their Instagram DMs via desktop.

  • To make it easier to shop in-stock products on the platform, Pinterest has added some more refinements to their new Verified Merchant Program including a new ‘Shop’ option to existing Pinterest boards as well as a new ‘Shop’ tab in the search results.

  • Facebook has launched its new Care Reactions to give users another way to express relevant emotion amid the COVID-19 crisis.

  • TikTok’s new Family Pairing function gives parents the ability to link their child’s account to theirs to help manage their kids' time in the app as well as protect them from potential predators and offensive content.

  • In order to help businesses impacted by the COVID-19 shutdowns, Instagram has released its new gift card, food order, and fundraiser tools for Stories and profiles.
